i-Series GPC system enables analysis of polymers under both aqueous and organic conditions. With all LC system functionalities packaged into an integrated system, the popular i-Series Plus HPLC can be upgraded into a GPC system by addition of the Refractive Index Detector (RID-20A) with a minimized footprint. The i-Series, a workhorse in many labs can serve the requirements in GPC analysis, thanks to its superb accuracy and consistency.

RID-20A, refractive index detector, through its dual-temperature control function, suppresses the effects of room temperature fluctuations and achieves excellent baseline stability and reproducibility, enabling accurate analysis of molecular weight distribution. The temperature of the incoming mobile phase is controlled in two stages; consequently, the stabilization time is significantly shorter than conventional systems. The use of a high-efficiency degassing unit in the integrated LC unit significantly reduces stabilization times.

The software provides up to 64 data points and allows entry of virtual points, so calibration curves can be fully verified
