The Nexera GPC System provides highly reliable and highly extensible performance in a wide variety of applications. Hardware that provides rapid instrument stabilization and excellent reproducibility of analytical results, and software that includes analytical work flow automation and overlap injection functions and features a user-friendly analysis screen view contribute to improving productivity.
The Nexera automatically uses FlowPilot (Smart Flow Control) to increase the flow rate gradually to the set point, thereby preventing sudden pressure changes/increase to the expensive and precious GPC columns. Reservoir tray weight sensors (optional) can be used to monitor sensitive organic mobile phases such as THF with automatic notifications to user when the quantity drops below set levels.
The Nexera GPC has the ability to monitor baseline changes and pressure fluctuations to check for abnormalities. When it detects an unusual fluctuation, it can automatically pause the analysis, purge the flow path, and restart analysis once it has confirmed recovery to normal pressure.
The Nexera GPC System utilizes high-speed micro-plunger actuation and automatic pulse compensation to provide pulse-free solvent delivery and excellent elution time reproducibility. The RID-20A detector features dual temperature-controlled optics to ensure superior baseline stability by minimizing the effects of changes in temperature. GPC calibration curves can be constructed in just 3 steps with a maximum of 64 data points available. Calibration curves can be corrected using the Mark–Houwink equation, and other correction methods based on Q-factors or degree of polymerization are available.
