LCMS-2050 combines the user-friendliness of LC detector with the excellent performance of MS to high-level performance and compactness. LCMS-2050 features Mass-itTM (Mass signature impartment technology) function which annotates MS results onto LC results. Mass spectral information is automatically extracted from peaks and displayed on the UV chromatogram, enabling the user to verify MS and UV data simultaneously, thus saving time and ensuring higher data integrity. With Quick Startup ability, vacuum system is ready in as little as 6 minutes, enabling rapid mass data acquisition after a power interruption.
The LCMS-2050 is equipped with the newly developed Heated Dual Ion Source (Heated DUIS™) as the standard configuration and features a mass range of m/z 2-2000 capable of measurement of wide range of compounds from low to high polarity. This hybrid source combines the benefits of electrospray ionization (ESI) and atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI) resulting in excellent sensitivity.
The system delivers quantitative analysis across a wide dynamic range from 0.1 to 1,000 pg and the system check function Performance Concierge, introduces a standard sample automatically, verifies mass accuracy, resolution and spectral intensity, and checks the instrument status for readiness of operations. LabSolutions LCMS workstation delivers streamlined instrument control and sophisticated data analysis using Analytical Intelligence.
Desolvation line (DL) that transfers the sample into the vacuum chamber can be replaced without using tools and without breaking the vacuum. The LCMS-2050 is designed with a 43% energy saving compared with LCMS-2020, the previous model. The Ecology mode enables multiple modes of shut down – complete shutdown of LC and MS (with vacuum pump OFF), shutdown of LC and MS (vacuum pump ON), shutdown of LC.
