Sepragen is dedicated to supplying powerful, innovative tools and technologies which enable our customers to develop and manufacture life-saving biological drugs, vaccines and diagnostics quickly and cost-effectively.
The QuantaSep is a family of revolutionary chromatography systems is designed to provide full automation of the purification process from laboratory to commercial production scales. These systems are powerful and flexible, yet easy to learn and use. They systems are compact and easily scalable and use the same design philosophy keeping your needs in mind. They are all run using the same easy to use, fully validated and 21cfr3 part 11 compliant software. They have the capability to automate all routine tasks including buffer dilution or buffer making depending on your needs, saving 100’s of hours in validating buffers and cutting down space requirements, time and overall cost of either development or cost of manufacturing. Clinical production can be scaled up rapidly in existing facilities without having to increase headcount and hence helping you take product into the market much quicker than currently possible. While all QuantaSep systems are equipped with UV, conductivity and pH detectors, they also contain two unique features to protect your product loss, 1) an active air trap and 2) a leak detector. The active air trap protects your column from air without increasing holdup volume and hence unnecessary dilution or gradient formation due to the holdup volumes of in a bubble trap. The leak detector another critical feature allows you to guarantee no loss of your expensive feed or buffers due to leaks being developed as a result of possible loose connections.
Sepragen’s products are used to manufacture over 30+ FDA approved drugs including Kogenate®, Alphanate®, Neupogen®, and GammaGrand®* along with a multitude of other drugs currently in clinical trials.
The Sepralac® Process enables the isolation of high value whey protein isolate, alphalactalbumin, lactoferrin and CGMP for use in infant formulae, performance foods and other functional foods.
Sepradebitt® process to debitter and de-acify citrus juice and the Sepraflavone® Process to isolate the natural “phyto” estrogen of Isoflavone from soy are currently in commercial evaluations with potential licenses.
Sepragen, the original inventors of radial flow chromatography, is dedicated to supplying powerful, innovative tools and technologies which enable our customers to develop and manufacture life-saving biological drugs, vaccines and diagnostics quickly and cost-effectively.
