SOPAT was born after the detection of a gap in the process analytics market. During the development of the Doctoral thesis of our co-founder, Dr. Sebastian Maaß, he saw the lack of a reliable photo-optical technology that could be automatized. Research is in our DNA.
Our roots lie in the history as a spin-off of the Technical University of Berlin, and are displayed in our various research projects and initiatives.
Academia is such an important pillar of our company, not only because we were born in a university, but also because we would like to empower future generations of scientists.
