Welcome to CuttingEdge!
‘Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value’, echoes every Spinco Tower that has
come up in different cities to serve our customers. ‘Customerization’ is not just a philosophy but
our way of life in Spinco, delighting the customers at every touch point. Having 50 support centers
across the country already, the inauguration of Spinco Towers in Chandigarh on February 23,
commemorating ‘25,000+ Shimadzu HPLCs’ is the new addition. Though late, we have come up
with the latest in this three-storeyed infrastructure that would not only house our Spincoites but
more importantly, conduct training programs and demonstrations for our customers in Chandigarh
and the vast neighboring areas.
‘Life is not gauged by the number of years one has lived but by the moments one has
treasured’! The grand opening of Spinco Towers was attended by luminaries from academia and
industry with Tetsuya Tanigaki, Managing Director, Shimadzu Asia Pacific as the Chief Guest and
as Guest of Honor, we had Dr. A. K. Sabharwal, Founder-Director, Pharmaffiliates, one of Spinco’s
earliest customers from the eighties when we were still taking baby steps to promote Shimadzu LC
in pharmaceutical industries, Prem Anand, Executive Officer, Shimadzu Asia Pacific and Yoshiyuki
Fujino, Managing Director, Shimadzu Analytical (India). The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured
on the wrapper was a cherished moment for Spinco as both our dear Customers and beloved
Principals did the honors. Technical sessions and the ‘One Spinco’ pavilion showcasing the entire
Spinco canopy of workflow solutions, were the special attractions.
‘The Indian economy would hover around 35 - 40 Trillion US Dollars by 2047 when the
Nation celebrates 100 years of Independence’, announced Shri. Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of
Commerce and Industry. Fuelling India’s aspiration in Amrit Kaal, the Budget 2023-24 focused on
a template for developed India with technology-driven development, energy transition, climate
action, strengthening infrastructure, and providing greater fiscal space to states. Emphasizing
