World’s first integrated time-gated Raman spectrometer with real fluorescence suppression

We have now released a third-generation instrument PicoRaman M3 which implements the patented time-gated Raman technology with real fluorescence suppression. PicoRaman M3 spectrometer allows making the most out of Raman spectroscopy, with new applications in the fields of science and industry. PicoRaman M3 is the only commercial Raman spectrometer capable of time-resolved measurements.

Raman spectroscopy is a very powerful technique on account of its intrinsically high molecular specificity, the requirement for minimal or no sample pre-treatment, the ability to measure aqueous samples, the flexibility of sampling configurations, and suitability for automation. Furthermore, Raman spectroscopy is a non-destructive, non-contact, label-free, fast and easy-to-use measurement technique. Time-gating increases the robustness and reliability of Raman measurements even further by enabling true fluorescence suppression.

With this new development, the main idea was to produce a Timegated^® Raman spectrometer for industrial use, as our previous generation models have been designed for laboratory purposes. Now we have the technology which can see chemical changes fast and in real-time, online with a high accuracy.
