GC-2014C Capillary and Packed Gas Chromatograph
AFC – Higher-level analyses, APC – Digital detector gas control
GC-2014C is equipped with 5th generation (AFC) technology and digital control is standard for not only capillary columns but for packed columns as well. More accurate electronic flow controllers maintain flowrates in multiple modes automatically, eliminating human error and deliver very high repeatability of retention time & peak area. Using the electronic flow controller, the column inlet pressure, column flow rate , linear velocity and split ratio are easily digitally set. It is no longer required to set complicated split ratio settings by manual measurements.
All parameters for GC analysis are controlled digitally when APC is used to control detector gases. Gases are supplied or cut off in conjunction with switching ON/OFF power to the main unit or detector. Five electronic controller slots (AFC/APC) are available in the back bottom of the main unit while up to six additional manual ow controllers can be mounted in the clear case atop the main unit. An optional solenoid valve can be added to manual flow controller to stop the hydrogen and air flow automatically if the FID flame is extinguished or when the GC is turned off.
GC-2014C Packed & Capillary Gas Chromatograph
GC-2014C, the workhorse for Gas Chromatography addresses both packed and capillary applications in routine analysis offering consistent and highly reliable data. Equipped with advanced digital flow controller (AFC) technology coupled with choice of injectors and high sensitivity detectors, the GC-2014C provides the most dependable performance in the analysis of volatile compounds.
Full Line of Injection Units & High-Sensitivity Detectors
GC-2014C provides a wide choice of introduction methods to be selected according to analytical objectives and type of samples; the optimum injection mode can be selected from four types of injection units : Dual Packed Injection Unit DINJ-2014 ; Split/Splitless Injection Unit,SPL-2014; Single Packed Injection Unit, SINJ-2014; Direct Injection Unit , WBI-2014. For high-throughput and more accurate analysis, the AOC-20i auto injector and AOC-20s auto sampler provide automation and unattended analysis, while offering very high levels of precision and repeatability, not possible with manual injectors.
All standard detectors for gas chromatography are available in GC-2014C: Flame Ionization Detector (FID/DIFD), Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD), Electron Capture Detector (ECD), Flame Photometric Detector (FPD), Flame Thermionic Detector (FTD). The detectors provide the best sensitivity, extended dynamic range and robust performance over extended periods of time. The FID comes with automatic ignition and re-ignition functions as standard.
Intelligent Self-diagnostics & Large Display
Self-diagnostics validates that the instrument conditions, before injection. This function conducts a detailed diagnosis of the septum and glass insert operating lifetime, temperature sensor errors, supplied gas pressure, control status for each gas, ignition operation, DC voltage and AD converter.
